Sounding more post-rock than glitch-hop, Resonant Language is up in our feeds this week with a new song, “Laminar Flow.”
One half of Bricksquash with Cloud-D, the addition of all three of these acts to The Untz Festival lineup made for some very excited experimental bass fans.
The song itself is a meandering, trippy little glitchy soundscape for about two-thirds of the track, but then discombobulates into a Slint or Tortoise style post-rock ramble that excites this 90's kid very much. You can grab this one now from our friends over at Addic.tech.
Beyond having Bricksquash's tourmates Ultrasloth out, we've also got solo sets from Duffrey and bioLuMiGen, the SLUG WIFE crew with Kursa, K.L.O., and Seppa, Mike Wallis, Hullabaloo, Goopsteppa, and VCTRE, so drippy low end is handled May 31 through June 2 in Mariposa, California.
