John LaBoone is attempting to singlehandedly push the psystep envelope one track at a time with Funkerpump, his forthcoming release slated for a December 1st drop. Today's premiere from Soulacybin is a treat for fans of Tipper's downtempo delights.

Glitched out guitar licks coo and echo over a squishy bassline, pulsing and squirming in time with a delicate percussive line. Building in energy and intensity, the cut climaxes with psychedelic glee. There are a variety of textures and tempos that pull the album together, and the sum of the parts propels Denver's LaBoone to the head of the class in the psydub scene.
