Boulder treasure Ehren Wright is busting out big time. Known in CO as SoDown, the young producer and sax player today releases Time For Adventure, a five-song collection spanning glitch, hip-hop, and electro-soul.

Opener "Throwin' Thunder" pulls no punches, going straight for the gut with powerful bass drops. "All In" has a classy, jazzy feel with an intensity courtesy of pounding drums and a gnarly kick. Classic hip-hop comes in the form of "Back In The Day," the most-straightforward and hypnotic on the release. The closers on the EP, "A Land Far Away" and "Those Before Me" epitomize electro-soul to a "t." Heavy, but with old-school sampling techniques in use, the balance is mesmerizing.
