7. Cookie Monsta b2b Funtcase
These Circus Records mainstays are sure to bring out all the freaks who agree that dubstep is at its best when it’s grimy, crunchy and dirty. If you’ve ever once imagined how awesome life would be if you could hop in a time machine and turn up at a dubstep party during the heyday of the wobble around 2011, you need to catch this pair going back-to-back at the Hilltop Arena on Friday afternoon. If you’ve never had that dream, dance through, get low and bang your head a bit anyway.
6. Spor
You realize that Spor is the drum’n’bass alias of Jon Gooch AKA the electro-house and dubstep producer Feed Me, right? That’s all we need to know to anticipate that some of the weekend’s best drum’n’bass will be flowing from the Hilltop Arena Friday afternoon.
5. Bicep
Bicep will be closing-out the Elrow-curated stage on Saturday. The Belfast, Northern Ireland-based experimental, minimal house act have garnered a serious cult status in the underground. Their ‘Just’ EP incorporated just about everything including a bit of trance and their Essential Mix for the BBC embraced disco, so we can hopefully expect the same eclectic feels as they flex their biceps at EZoo.
