Stateside experimental bass fans have been patiently waiting to see two acts on American soil, and SONIC BLOOM has managed to snag both of them for multiple sets.
Australian glitch legend, Spoonbill, and UK master of all things bass, Culprate, have joined the annual festival which returns to Hummingbird Ranch in Spanish Peaks Country, Colorado from June 20-23. These two icons are such big influences in the scene that has sprouted up in the U.S., and has fueled the artists who have graced Bloom's lineups for more than a decade.
Not only do these legends make the bill, but also rising star Detox Unit, Louis Cole's KNOWER project, bil bless, Pushloop, Daily Bread, Artifakts, Spectacle, and more. These acts join previously announced headliners Gramatik, OPIUO, Emancipator Ensemble, Kalya Scintilla & Eve Olution, Yheti, Whitebear, Merkaba, Kaya Project, The Widdler, The Librarian, Of The Trees, and others.
In addition to acting as a crucible for up-and-coming electronic artists, SONIC BLOOM also focuses on cutting-edge art, installations, lights, sound, and a welcoming vibe that has made the festival one of the highlights of each summer season.
Fans from across the country and around the world have come to count on Bloom to shine a spotlight on the scene's next biggest stars. Not only that, but the sheer variety of music is intoxicating, from liveronica and glitch-hop to psytrance, house and techno, there are no genre barriers, and no shortage of intermingling between artists and styles. Additional phases of artists will be announced in the coming months.
