A week ago, fraternal hip-n-glitch-n-hop duo PEGA5U5 unveiled its latest masterpiece. Pairing Mr. Rogers' bass-driven productions with his brother Pharroh's addictive flows and frontman prose, the new record Hippocrene is poised to set off a whole run of wildness when these two hit the stage. As part of its three tier system, fans can support the independent effort (released on their own Ooze System imprint) with a Pay-What-You-Want format for the album. In Tier 2, fans can chip in a bit more, and get the VIP's for each track. Things get much more exciting in Tier 3, where aspiring producers are treated to the stems and acapellas for the tracks, in addition to some rad sample packs.

This is where we step in. The Untz is proud to tip fans off on the Champagne Drip remix for "Temporary Love." Recently we learned that this thrilling new future and trap producer was the alter ego of dubstep legend SPL. But instead of going heavy, Champagne Drip takes gentle care of the vox, sending shimmering waves of bass glancing off the ephemeral chorus. With a modernist take on glitch-hop and an ear for R&B flavors, we suddenly get a sexy late-summer jam out of one of the hottest tracks on the album.

You can snag the remixes soon as part of the album bundles at pega5u5.com/new-album to support what these guys are doing.
