5. Knife Party - Bonfire

Let’s see, what’s there to say about this song? Oh that’s right, they bumped this nasty piece during season five of Breaking Bad. Walter White jamming to Knife Party in a brand new Chrysler 300, Walt Jr., sorry, Flynn, kicking back in his new Dodge Challenger, and you know those meth heads are feeling this one.

4. 501 - HeadRush ft Belle Humble

“Headrush” is best enjoyed while shredding fresh powder on your nearest mountain, or whatever adrenaline-pumping activity you need to get juiced for, like taking out the trash or washing dishes. 2012 was 501’s biggest year to date, and this visceral gem is sure to get those energetic juices flowing right quick.

3. Xilent - Universe (ft. Shaz Sparks)

If you couldn’t tell by now, it was a booming year for anthemic dubsep tunes with harmonious female vocals. Xilent begged us to touch sound on his recent release, while escaping all earthy contrasts with the help of Shaz Sparks on “Universe.”

2. Seven Lions ft. Fiora - Days to Come

Trying to pick just one track from Seven Lions’ tantalizing collection of emotive soundscapes was not an easy task; it had us tossing and turning in our sleep for nights on end. We finally decided on “Days to Come,” which showcases his uncanny ability to make heavy sound like peaceful, and peaceful sound like heaven.
