For more than a decade, Lorin Ashton has been defining his own twisting and turning career through EDM. His passion for the trade began even before that, when he started throwing death metal shows in a Cupertino basement. Through promoting, his understanding of the industry grew and developed, but not as quickly as his skill behind the tables. From drum 'n' bass to hip-hop and finally to the wondrous world of bass music, the giant empire that Bassnectar has created has come from a lot of blood and sweat--but not too many tears. As many sold out shows at giant arenas he performs, it's still always going to be about the fans, and making sure they have the time of their lives.
