When starting to listen to electronic music, most of us at some point or another come across the dynamic duo from Paris known as Daft Punk. They have been making danceable tunes and performing some of the most iconic (and rarest) shows seen since the 90's. Yet after the February 17th, we got to hear them in an all-new way thanks to Nashville’s own, Wick-It The Instigator.
Known for having one of the Top 200 active SoundCloud profiles on the entire site, Andrew Owsley has been making his hip-hop/dubstep/rock influenced music that has gained him thousands of fans and major spots at some of the countries largest music festivals. Breathing new life into many of his remixes, he is back at it with his own rendition of “One More Time” by Daft Punk. Sticking true to the songs roots at the start of the track, when the break comes in, we hear that dirty south style of Wick-It’s that so many of us have come to love and adore, turning this club favorite into a dubstep banger. Time and time again Owsley blows us away with his original tracks and remixes and this time is no different.
Be sure to catch his set at The Untz Festival as he takes the stage with a plethora of other talented musicians. Happening in Mariposa, California from June 2-4th at the Mariposa County Fairgrounds, you're not going to want to miss Wick-it's set.
