So you say that you can’t have a pool party in Aspen in the middle of winter? The good folks at Melty Myndz would beg to differ. On February 2nd, along with the help of your trusted friends here at The Untz, Melty Myndz is bringing you their fourth edition of Whomp in the Water – Colorado’s biggest indoor pool party at the Aspen Rec Center. The event will be feature some of the state’s best talent, with artists like Coult-45, TimeLine, and Artistry, appearing on two different stages capable of delivering up to 60,000 watts of “mind blowing bass music.”
Three years ago, Melty Myndz started as the shared idea of James Fogerty and David Foley. The two have now put on shows and events in both Aspen and Denver, as well as the outdoor venue, State Bridge, a favorite of Colorado natives. The parties always highlight up-and-coming acts and are guaranteed to provide plenty of jamming Rocky Mountain vibes. As for the fourth installment of their massive pool party and their first ever winter whomp, Melty Myndz has the event down to a science and it’s sure to be a wet and wild time.
