Hate all you want, but OWSLA has quickly become one of music’s most fearless record labels. Not just electronic music, but music in general. Each release is something special, something unique. Releasing music in countless genres is respectable in its own right, but completely reinventing styles within those genres is another. Playing by the rules will only get you so far, and Sonny Moore’s blossoming imprint doesn’t have time to follow any guidelines. Life is too short for doing what everyone has already done. Blissful symphonies released beside haunting crescendos, and OWSLA wouldn’t have it any other way.
