If you’re like us, you’re itching for the perfect shindig to kick off festival season, look no further. Backwoods at Mulberry Mountain in Ozark, Arkansas is coming in hot with an impressive and playful lineup.
The roster includes the likes of STS9, GRiZ, Snails, The Floozies, Emancipator, Yheti, Space Jesus, Figure, Michal Menert, Modern Measure, Muzzy Bear, Sunsquabi, Zoogma, Papadosio, and more all converging April 20-22. We’re stoked for this skilled curation of musicians and the rambunctious shenanigans that are sure to ensue.
We're especially excited that our partners at ThazDope Records are curating a Backwoods stage like they do at our own festival. Catch the likes of Aplsoz, beardthug, Brainrack, Cntrlla, Cut Rugs, Danny Grooves, Eazybaked, Kirby Bright, LoDurr, Salty, smith., Smokestax, and label head Spankalicious. There is also a wide assortment of local and regional talent to round out the bill.
Hand picked visual artists and creators are also on deck to bring their installations and murals to adorn the mountain, as well as live art going on throughout the fest. Returning from a one-year hiatus, the event organizers who have a track record of great production, sound, and experiences, are coming back out of the woodwork (literally) with this one.
Keep an eye out as more details are released in the coming weeks. In the meantime, link up with the Trail to the Woods Tour featuring Linear Symmetry and Ryan Viser leading up to the fest or the Dallas pre-party April 13.
Weekend passes include camping; general admission passes with car camping are currently $184 or you can choose shaded woods camping for $213. RV passes without hookups are available for $179. Early arrival passes for Thursday are $35. Backwoods is also still accepting applications for volunteers as well as art and food vendors.
