The Knocks release summer recap video, "The Feeling" hits iTunes tomorrow
Published: August 20, 2012
It seems like everyone is jumping on The Knocks bandwagon, these days. NYC's electro-pop duo have been enjoying a string of major showcases and support from powerful players--and it's more than deserved. B-Roc and JPatt (DJs Ben Ruttner and James Patterson) blend high-energy dance tracks with soulful vox and extra catchy hooks. In addition to being pegged for Jay-Z's Made in America Festival Labor Day weekend in Philly, the duo will be hitting the road with Dragonette in September, and just released an EP last month, Geronimo, with ultra-hip French house producer Fred Falke on ultra-hip French label Kitsuné.
To celebrate the meteoric rise of The Knocks over just the last 9 months since their debut EP Magic (A&M/Octone) was released, the act put together a fun recap video of its summer shenanigans at SXSW and Ultra Music Festival. Set to "R.O.Y.L" from Magic, the video serves as a launchpad for their latest single, the massive summer anthem "The Feeling." The high-powered indie-electro smash hit sing-a-long is available now on Beatport, and hits iTunes tomorrow (Aug 21st).
