Summer Camp Music Festival has come out of the gate strong, booking several high-profile electronic artists for its annual Memorial Day Weekend event. The festival returns to Three Sisters Park in Chillicothe, IL from May 22-24, 2015 with an extra pre-party tacked on May 21st.
The first round lineup features STS9, Big Gigantic, Cherub, The Floozies, Future Rock, Paul Oakenfold, Cosby Sweater, Digital Tape Machine, Manic Focus, and LCD Soundsystem tribute act North American Scum. While the initial electronic lineup always skews towards the livetronica side of the spectrum, expect more dubstep, trap, and house acts to be added in the near future.
These acts join festival hosts moe. and Umphrey's McGee, along with marquee acts Widespread Panic and wild card Steve Miller Band, who rule the top line. As always, more than 75 artists will fill out the festival covering 7 stages and a wide variety of jam, reggae, rock, indie, hip-hop, Americana, and jazz.
Tickets for the festival are now on sale at summercampfestival.com, and several more waves of artists will be added with subsequent rounds, so stay tuned.
