Sub Focus releases video for "Turn It Around" with Kele Okereke

Sub Focus, world-renowned legend in the EDM jungle, is teasing fans with the circulation of a new video to as yet unreleased track “Turn It Around.” The single features the crisp, distinctive vocals of Kele Okereke from Bloc Party, and is scheduled to drop September 22nd. The anticipated full album, Torus, will be released shortly after on September 30th.
Sub Focus holds a reputation for being cutting edge through forward thinking, genre bending style; “Turn It Around” and its video are a crystal clear example of this prominence through diversity. Kele’s indie vocals complement the catchy melody and classic drum & bass style of this track as richly as dark chocolate accompanies red wine.
The refined “Turn It Around” video captures a plethora of vividness as well, from depicting the grunge of the city, to the magic of nature, and even the sleaze of the underground. The video tells an engaging story through the perspective of a character trying to find her place. An angsty buildup in the grimey city transitions to the sweet release in the placid outdoors, and the video ends on an uplifting, inspirational note.
