Rature Studios co-founder, David Timko, has collected some of the most exciting up-and-comers in the underground bass scene for his Transformation: The Remixes album. Released in three chunks over the subsequent Mondays in March, the first cadre of SLAVE remixers bursts onto our feed today.
We've been covering Daniel Clowers a.k.a. Peanutbutter Williams for a while. He connected with Timko thorugh the Ohio bass music scene, and the pair have toured with and promoted each other in their respective markets. When the SLAVE remix project got underway over the past year, Clowers, latched onto the song “Gliding.”
“I feel it's important during these times to help shift the darkness we have been facing, and flip it into light,” Clowers noted. “This release marks the start for me of using my music to focus on putting out good vibes, and intentions hoping to help people shift their emotion to a place that makes them feel high vibrations of positivity.”
In addition to the 12 remixes coming out over the next 3 weeks, the physical edition is a 2-disc set featuring the original album, the new remixes, and 5 remixes that are exclusive to the CD. The remixers on this project are more than familiar to our fans, and include Ahee, BroMosapien, Sunrizen, Danny Grooves, DiCE MaN, Scales, Magnetic, and more.
