Denver's DJ-drummer duo Signal Path has released the first in a series of four EPs set to come out in 2011.  The Prosaic Fades features the production work of guitarist-vocalist Ryan Burnett and the solid beats of drummer Damon Metzner.  Recorded, mixed, and produced in Denver's Spacement by Burnett, with assistance from Cody Wille, the five-track EP marks the beginning of Spring, and each subsequent release will fall on the first day of the next season. Expect more hip-hop and experimental sounds from Signal Path, who are just coming off the release and tour for their album Imaginary Lines which came out last Fall. This first piece of the band's quadrILLogy is a snapshot of an evolving band in an evolving scene. Fades captures SP's dramatic IDM collage, and offers a glimpse of the live production techniques of this talented duo, who got some low end help from bassist Matt Schumacher.
