Connecticut's Mitch Bilodeau is impressive in his first appearance on The Untz.
The brand new Scatz track, “Nemesis,” out today on Philly outlet Aspire Higher is brooding, dark bass attack, like the soundtrack to a rainy (probably acid rain) dystopian film about a crumbling city center. Strewn with rubble and belching thick, black smoke, this is a heavy-duty track from a newcomer on our radar.
Of course, Bilodeau isn't a newcomer to the east coast bass scene. He's part of the WUMP Collective, which connects New England to Colorado, as well as the Elemental Minded team, which is bringing cutting-edge bass to Connecticut.
In fact, Scatz is opening up a massive show for the EMP team, which is celebrating its 2nd anniversary on Friday, April 14th with Jade Cicada, Mickman, Tsimba B2B Deez, Smigonaut, and Nocturnal Status.
We've known this guy only a short time, and already we're fiending to hear his tunes on a Funktion-One rig, which fans will get to do at the end of this week at Area 808 in Waterbury, Connecticut.
Jump on that Scatz train.
