If you’re mourning the winding down of festival season like we are, you’ll be happy to know there are still some killer events coming up you won’t want to miss. This weekend, September 12 and 13, we invite you to Dancefestopia, a music, dancing, and camping festival in Kansas City, MO.
The third annual premier midwest dance music festival has an inspired lineup including artists like Beats Antique, Excision, Flux Pavilion, MiM0SA, Carnage, Zion I, Wick-it the Instigator, Keys N Krates, R3HAB, Lindsey Stirling, and many more.
Experience
Taking place at scenic Berkley Riverfront Park, the sprawling 17-acre event holds around 20,000 people. Prepare for sensory overload with breathtaking sound and production suitable for such a crowd. The immersive experience includes art installations and live art, body painting, extreme activities like a 50 ft. free-fall jump and helicopter rides, a beer garden, and plenty of vendors and bars.
There will be a main stage as well as a second stage sponsored by The Untz. Music goes until 5:30 a.m. both nights before attendees retire to the beautiful riverfront campgrounds.
Tickets & Travel Info
General Admission passes are $125 and VIP passes (which include unlimited drinks) are $250. While there are no age restrictions for GA, VIP must be 21 and up. Camping passes are $49. Ticket prices will go up at the gate, so get them now. Find or offer rides to the festival at the Ride Share program here.
Don’t forget to download the official Dancefestopia App in the App Store or Google Play.
Bring your dance moves, smiles, and positive energy, and come enjoy musical bliss. Happiness is the experience of living every minute with love, grace, and gratitude. #DFT2014
