Careful, bass music fans, Liquid Stranger is on the "Warpath." From his second in a series of six EPs slated for release this summer, entitled Anomaly, we bring you a growling, snarling, plodding beast akin to J.R.R. Tolkein's oliphants. This militant call to action summons the sonic lifeblood of the world's indigenous peoples to do Martin Stääf's bidding.
Thundering through the dense underbrush of didgeridoos and whooping wooden flutes, the twin attack of dubstep's most powerful voices, Chicago legend MC ZULU and veteran vocalist Messinian decry injustice, and inhumanity, and call a warning to all tyrants. We're on the warpath, tonight.
The second track on the EP, "Trouble," which also features OHM Daddy, is a silky dub track with Tzaddi. You can grab Liquid Stranger's Anomaly: Two on June 2 via Beatport and iTunes.
