In the biggest leap from regional hangout to massive, nationwide, attention-grabbing festival we've ever seen in a single year span, Backwoods Camping & Music Festival has completed a final lineup that competes with some of our favorite events from around the country.
Adding our biggest breakout artist of 2014, ODESZA tops the bill alongside Porter Robinson and Infected Mushroom's live band as one of the headliners at Backwoods Bash 2.0. The stunning live hip-hop duo of Harrison Mills and Clayton Knight has produced not only one of the fastest rises to super stardom we've seen in our corner of the scene, but also assembled a jaw-dropping stage show which fans can't get enough of.
Joining Mills and Knight is their first pick for the new Foreign Family Collective. The artist collective started by ODESZA unveiled a shiny new single from relatively unknown producer Big Wild, which absolutely exploded. "Aftergold" has amassed one million plays on Soundcloud in a little over a month, and stunned fans of house, hip-hop, and everything between. Big Wild has been a late addition to some festivals, but Backwoods was quick to catch on.
Additionally, The Untz Challenge winners Mass Relay and Orphic will represent TheUntz.com at Backwoods as it is one of the nine major summer festivals the acts won in their participation in the contest. These new additions join BoomBox, Break Science, The Floozies, Papadosio, Manic Focus, Liquid Stranger, and more in Stroud, OK from September 4-6.
