This is the sound of progress.  A reflective NiT GriT, has put out a brand new track that demonstrates growth and method.  An early 90's house sample undergirds this remarkably downtempo and moody effort.  The same sonic pulse, the shriek of Verrazano bridge cables snapping and whipping in the wind, the bombastic snare hits--it's all there.  But NiT GriT is not focused on molesting subwoofers, the spastic shifts don't whiplash the unknowing listener.  There's patience, deliberate ebbs and flows.  We are privy to the evolution of one of the brightest stars in the world of IDM.  The full-length can't come soon enough.
