With another milestone reached at 20,000 fans on Facebook, NiT GriT is thanking his fans with two monster tracks from the dubstep prince (of darkness), himself. "I Made This For You" is a big of a departure for Danny Beall. With the tempo thrust into somewhat of an uptick, synth bubbles burst like droplets of rain on a roof, and airy acapellas float through the track. Consider this cut influenced by the sexiness in some of Gladkill's most recent work. The second track, "Wake Up," has that classic NG sound, with old school dub chords, pitch-shifted female robots, and--of course--banging bass.
NiT GriT ain't just making waves in the studio. Tonight, Beall will join Pretty Lights and Big Gigantic at the Bank of America Pavilion in Boston, then he'll head to Terminal 5 in NYC for a date with Lotus and Mux Mool, then rejoin PL and Big G in Maine to wrap up the weekend.
