Straight out the gate and into your hearts, the thrilling sounds of MSD make us Francophiles smile like we haven't since Edith Piaf was still kicking around. Yes, we are 80 years old. "No Forgo" is the latest cut from the young producer who has gotten plays from some of the best in the biz, including Cookie Monsta, Mistajam, Brown & Gammon, and Flux Pavilion. Making the transition from artists' artist to true sensation ain't easy, but MSD is slowly creeping onto playlists worldwide with his winning sound, an accessible ear for pop that infuses the heaviest and darkest of drops. To take things to a whole new level, he's enlisted fellow Frenchman Habstrakt to kick his track in a different direction, spewing broken beats and snapping the drop into a million little pieces. "No Forgo" is out today (March 13th) on Beatport, courtesy of the fine folks at Prime Dub Entertainment. Who else did you think it'd be? They know their bass. The single is actually the title track from MSD's forthcoming EP, the first installment of the release due out April 17th. He'll be backing it up with a second single, "Quiet Riot" featuring the sumptuous vocals of Jillian Ann. A match made in heaven, as far as we're concerned. Stay tuned for that gem.
