For a while there, glitch-hop was getting kinda stale. Cast aside by the rising popularity of dubstep and trap, glitch was shunned to the far reaches of the electronic spectrum where only geeks and preserationists dared tread. But the Collaborative Endeavours project of one Mr. Bill has renergized, revitalized, and rewritten the rules of the hop. With each successive joint project, Aussie Bill Day has pumped new blood into the artform. Collabs with ill-esha, Haywyre, Stickybuds, and more have bestowed upon Day titles more befitting: perhaps Dr. Bill, or Hon. Rev. Bill, or even H.R.M. Bill? His latest project with Crazy Daylight is no exception; hard-hitting glitch cut with a heavy dose of swagger and psychedelia. Marvelous.
