lespecial launch IndieGOGO campaign for Ceremony, release "Sweet Pea"

Aggressive dance trio lespecial have announced an Indiegogo Campaign for their upcoming tour & sophomore EP, Ceremony. They are also using the Indiegogo platform to debut their music video for “Sweet Pea,” which features footage from their sessions at Studio Metronome in New Hampshire. lespecial is offering several incentive packages for supporters ranging from a digital download to music lessons at their independently run music school, The Music Cellar. The band aims to extend a personal connection with their loyal fan base who have supported them over their eight years together. They have raised nearly $2000 towards their goal of $5000, and have a little under 3 weeks to go.

Known for their musical versatility and the primal energy of their live show, lespecial has earned prime slots on concerts and festivals in the US and abroad and gained attention for hosting their annual music & arts potluck festival, lespectacle. Last year’s event featured a collection of top tier acts including Mr. Bill, Bird of Prey, and the world premier of Supersillyus Life Band. In a band statement (below), lespecial calls upon fans and supporters to partake in the next chapter of their journey as they prepare for their headlining tour across the east coast.

We are three musicians who have grown up playing music together since we were young pups. We have been a band for 8 years now, first emerging from the barren woods of Connecticut, and now based out of Boston and Millerton, NY where we run our independent music school, “The Music Cellar.”

Over the past several months we have been working tirelessly on our new EP, Ceremony, which will be released February 12th.

The EP was recorded at Studio Metronome in New Hampshire and we are proud to say that we have created a piece of work that truly represents who we are as a band. We will be touring the East Coast in February and March in support of it and we are very excited to share our new music with all of you. Our goal is to raise $5000 in support of this tour toward merchandise expenses, gas, insurance and repairing our van. Throughout the 8 years that we have been a band we have gotten to where we are because of our friends, families and supporters and we thank you sincerely for your continued support.
