Recently, a meme was posted on Max Pote’s Facebook wall that proclaimed “
Protohype Is So Hot Right Now,” over a classic image from the movie Zoolander. While this was obviously made to induce a full-faced grin across Pote’s face, it could not be any closer to the truth.
The dog-loving, dub hoppin’ producer out of Los Angeles has been on his grind this past year, with an infectious sound that will pounce into your ear cavities, and stay there till you fill them with another fresh Protohype banger. Pote’s “Music Monday’s” series continues to induce full-throttle head rushes with each unforgettable track he unleashes—and his most recent is the most jaw dropping to date. “One Minute” takes on a recent anthem by the Chicago trio
Krewella, and churns it up with an unlimited supply of appetizing bass bursts and gritty dub lines. Pote keeps the electrifying vocals from the Yousaf sisters, but serves up a tasty new portion of mouth watering synth smacks and quick paced drum sections that will leave listeners begging for more.
Max Pote continues to prove that the sky is the limit for him, as his menacing sounds soar to uncharted territories with each earth rattling release. Get on the Protohype train quick, because it’s undoubtedly the place to be these days.
