Envisioning a modern day, bass-heavy version of classic rock, master glitch-hop producer Kraddy (born Matthew Kratz) constructed Anthems of the Hero by combining the energy and elements of rock and roll with the production techniques of contemporary electronic music. Kratz was able to bring his ideas to life with the aid and inspiration of multi-platinum music producer Ross Robinson (Korn, The Cure, Slipknot, GlassJAw) and metal producer Steve Evetts (Dillinger Escape Plan, Poison The Well). Focusing on the integration of live instrumentation and digital audio, the team added Jon Theodore (drummer and former member of The Mars Volta) and Cody Votolato (guitarist of The Blood Brothers) to the project and used software such as Logic and Pro Tools to re-engineer the symphonic aesthetic of rock legends like Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin.
The Untz is proud to announce its participation in the release of Kraddy’s Anthems of the Hero remixes. Starting this Wednesday, February 1st and continuing bi-weekly Fresh Beatz will release an exclusive track from the compilation beginning with a remix by Minnesota, followed closely with re-workings from luminaries in the field ill-Esha, Samples, Sugarpill, Stephan Jacobs, and more.
