Artists forming new alliances, working on collaborations, remixing each other—it's exactly what we always envisioned for The Untz Festival. One of our favorite new acts from right in the Central Valley just an hour or so from Mariposa, California where our festival returns June 2-4, hustling beatsmith and DJ ION is taking his penchant for experimental bass and running with it.

Already a fan of the sound, he picked up the stems for Toadface's smash “Glands” from the MEANWHILE... comp curated by Space Jesus for Wakaan and ran with them. Keeping Todd Holler's signature croaking bass, but putting his own spin on things, Jimmy Mosqueda has bounced out a thrilling take on the instant classic that fans are gonna absolutely love.
