This Friday and Saturday (September 6-7), Hyperion Music & Arts Festival returns to the rolling hills and meadows of Spencer, IN, about an hour outside of Indianapolis. The venue is actually a recording studio on a large plot of land, boasting a staff with over 50 years of music and recording experience so you can bet the sound quality is going to be top-notch.
Papadosio and Gramatik are headlining with support from Future Rock, Break Science, Cyberoptics, Dopapod, Roster McCabe, The Floozies, Cosby Sweater, The Coop, Spankalicious, and many other unique and talented musicians.
Tickets
There are 3-day General Admission passes available for $120.00, which allow you to enter the festival at 6 p.m. tonight, September 5. 2-day General Admission passes are available for $110.00, which allow you to enter at 9 a.m. on Friday, September 6. RV passes are sold out and there are no VIP tickets for this festival. Parking is $5 in an offsite lot and there will be a shuttle to transport attendees to the festival grounds.
Experience
Hyperion is a Titan of Greek mythology, the Lord of Light, so you can anticipate an exciting array of lighting and design illuminating some incredible visual artists, performers, and musicians. Expect installations that use items like LED hoops, ultraviolet lighting and UV reactive pigments, crystals, and many other forms of art and light projections. You will also find performances by stilt walkers, fire masters, contortionists, and aerial artists for your viewing pleasure. The grounds host a beautiful forest and pond, which will be full of aural and visual stimulation. Get ready to indulge your senses!
This is the 2nd annual Hyperion Music & Arts Festival and it will be bigger, better, and brighter than 2012. Come on out to Stable Studios Farm this weekend, get hype and let your light shine!
