GRiZ spoke up on social media the other day mentioning two things: he’s dropped a new single from his upcoming album that’s slated for a March release, and he unloaded his spring tour dates!
So let's cover these announcements. The new single, titled “Stop Trippin’” is on key with his current funky flavor he’s been putting out to the masses. It’s filled to the brim with funky guitar riffs and soothing saxophone treats. Jessie Arlen aka iDA Hawk lays down vocals for the track and her voice couldn’t be more perfect for such a tune. This track as a whole makes me think of bygone times; men in bowler hats and suspenders with shiny shoes and women laying on pianos in seductive dresses. “Stop Trippin’” is definitely the taste of the upcoming album that everyone needed. The Internet loves it, to say the least.
The second announcement reveals the spring schedule for GRiZ’s Say It Loud World Tour. He’ll be kicking off the new leg of the tour in Asheville, North Carolina on April 1. The tour is set to make 29 stops with his compatriots The Floozies, Exmag, Artifakts, and Muzzy Bearr.
