Evanoff

Colorado's Evanoff has been honing its sound for years now, and the tightly-wound trio has gotten better and better and better with each iteration, release, and gig. Today the band unleased, Evanoff Live, which encapsulates how far its three members, guitarist JJ Evanoff, drummer Jake Hall, and bassist Brennan Forrester, have come.

Blending the livetronica aesthetic of forefathers the Disco Biscuits, Umphrey's McGee, Lotus, STS9, and the NEW DEAL with a penchant for classic rock gravitas, these Rocky Mountain boys have stepped their game up to untold levels, and their unimpeachable talent really shines on these high fidelity recordings.

Numerous originals from the classic Evanoff catalog meet unreleased songs as well as an inspired cover of the deadmau5 classic “Ghosts N Stuff.” The ability of these three guys to take on an iconic electronic opus and deftly add their own spin is admirable.

You'll be able to catch them in their element on a Plains run with Papadosio, and then on towards the east coast. Evanoff Live is a great entry point to the band, but it really is just a tease for what they sound like full force on stage.
