Now that festival season is well under way, we‘d like to keep it rolling with the next big party on deck: Euphoria Music Festival, taking place April 12th and 13th in New Braunfels, Texas (also home to Schlitterbahn and bratwurst). This relatively new festie is packing enough star power into its 2013 lineup to rival most big-name, three-day events, so whether you’d be coming from across the state or across the country, Euphoria is worth the trek.
Friday, April 12th:
Friday’s lineup is heavy hitting and definitely geared towards the bass addicts attending the festival. Datsik, Downlink, EOTO, and Designer Drugs are the main headliners on opening night, mixed in with some solid, soulful bass music in Michal Menert and NiT GriT, as well as recent viral sensation, Baauer. Friday also features house acts Leon Bolier and Black Matter, and of course a slew of popular local acts. Andrew Parsons, Toddy B, Teddy Chang, Gamma, and Skyline are some of the best new acts coming out of central Texas who will grace the stages of Euphoria Fest on Friday night.
Saturday, April 13th:
Saturday is when the house lovers come out to play. Tommy Trash, Felix Cartal, and Marcus Schossow are bringing the noise on the second night, along with Mord Fustang, Conspirator, MitiS, Clockwork, and Le Castle Vania to add more bass flavor. Saturday’s list is rounded out with more upcoming talent, such as Bronze Whale, Jesse Brede, ONE4ALL, SPLIC3R, and Ahab. Euphoria Fest will also feature multiple showcases put on by our friends at Silent Disco, which if you don’t know what a silent disco is, we highly suggest checking out http://smoothproductionz.com and be amazed. These showcases will go well into the wee morning hours and highlight local acts, contest winners, and a few bigger names from the festival.
Whether you’re traveling from near or far, coming to see Datsik or Tommy Trash, one thing is for sure, this power packed two-day festival is not to be missed. Euphoria fest has something for every kind of EDM lover, so grab your two day pass and get on down to Texas, ya hear?
