Once again, the transformational sensation Envision Festival returns to Rancho La Merced in beautiful Uvita, Puntarenas on the gorgeous southern Pacific shores of Costa Rica from February 25-28, 2016. No longer the festival scene's best kept secret, the utterly enchanting event that's all about self-discovery, sustainability, health and wellness, cultural exchange, and above all, the incredible music sold out last year, for the first time in Envision's five-year history.

Speaking of music, the festival's organizers have again fielded a jam-packed lineup (in only its first phase), which blends the best in underground electronic music, Costa Rican and Central American flair, reggae, Americana, and left-field acts that underline Envision's emphasis on sonic exploration.

The banner carrier for psychedelic electronic music worldwide, Simon Posford, will perform a Shpongle DJ set alongside another wild act known for its over-the-top live shows: Beats Antique. Side projects from the latter include worldtronica act Dirtwire (Beats Antique's David Satori alongside Evan Fraser) and a Sidecar Tommy set, which really makes it a family weekend for the crew.

Fans of psychedelic bass and glitch-hop are in for a treat as artists from around the world like Grouch, Spoonbill, Andreilien, Hedflux, Nominus, Digital Rust, and AtYyA are paired with the master of sunrise, himself, Random Rab, who will be performing at his sixth consecutive Envision Festival. House, electro-soul, hip-hop, and livetronica are as well represented as non-electronic styles led by Elephant Revival, Akae Beka (Midnite), Sonambulo, and more.

Held in as high a regard as the music, the yoga clinics are run by masters in the field like Rachel Brathen and Amber Ryan, and the speakers and workshops are thrilled to bring out wellness expert and viral sensation David Wolfe, and longtime Envision ally and permaculture expert Stephen Brooks of Punta Mona. As this is just the Wave 1 lineup, many more musicians, educators, and artists will be adding to the event.

The festival is adding educational retreats to its annual schedule, the first of which, Embody, will take place the week before the festival in the town of Uvita. Incredible tours of Costa Rica are always programmable via the festival, and excursions take place before, during, and after the actual event. You can also grab your 4-day Tier 3 passes for $277, and we encourage all those interested in attending to jump on those tickets, because Envision Festival is expected to sell out, once again!
