Even though it doesn't have to, Electric Forest has taken its lineup to the next level with artist additions and curated stages. The blowout festival sold out in less than 48 hours, but added another round of goodness to its June 23-26 mayhem at Double JJ Ranch in Rothbury, MI.

Festival headliners STS9 have added a special Axe the Cables set. In addition to plugging in, the band will perform a second "unplugged" set--always a fan favorite. Artist additions also include Liquid Stranger and meme-machine Getter.

The festival has also announced its label-curated stages, which feature a thousand pounds of crushing bass from the Bassrush crew (acts include G Jones, Bleep Bloop, Caspa B2B Rusko), Above & Beyond's Anjunadeep series features the best in deep house from Moon Boots, Lane 8, and more, and GRiZ's All Good Records takes over the Observatory deep in the forest on Saturday for a massive throwdown featuring Muzzy Bearr, Gosh Pith, and a special super jam. Keep your heads up for UNTZ faves Turbo Suit & Friends and Zoogma. Pew pew.

These acts all join festival hosts The String Cheese Incident, as well as top-liners Bassnectar and Major Lazer, along with Tchami, The Floozies, Porter Robinson, Beats Antique, and more.

Don't forget, The Untz returns to the Electric Glen to host panels with some of your favorite artists in the electronic (and non-electronic) realm on a variety of topics. Special guests in the past have included Big Gigantic, Lindsey Stirling, Zeds Dead, and so many more, and we want to make this year even bigger and better.
