Levi Witt has been working tirelessly to perfect his craft. "What's his craft?" you might ask. Good for you, on being such an inquisitive person. I'll tell you.

DRRTYWULVZ has been producing some of the gnarliest psybass on the planet, and it's earned him some fond admirers. The Austin, Texas scene is thick with psychedelic talent (Somatoast and Detox Unit come to mind), but Witt has made his presence felt, issuing some speaker busting ruckus on impressive labels and getting his cuts played out by some of the best in the biz.

We've got the good fortune of landing an advance copy of the brand new DRRTYWULVZ album, Ah Yes, which finds a home on Street Ritual on September 13. It is absolutely packed to the brim with the subsonic psychedelia we know and love, as well as some fun surprises from a talented young producer pushing his way to the top.

Take a listen to the single, "This One," which kicks off the album. Spacey gongs sound the fanfare of a screaming ton of bass which slips, slides, and slithers through gooey plug-ins. The rocketing drum line kicks in and it's off to the races. This is a scorcher that's only the tip of the iceberg for Ah Yes.
