“Follow You” by Deniz Koyu was easily one of the most anthemic cuts to drop this past summer, so it comes as no surprise producers abroad are incredibly eager to put their own spin on the euphoric beast of a track. One of the most recent revamps stems from New Jersey native
Aylen (Andrew Lin), who spices up the synth lines, fluffs up the snare drums, and serves it up to anyone with an appetite—for destruction, that is.
Lin quickly bursts open the musical floodgates by unleashing instrumentations from the original track, yet with a slight twist. He chops up Koyu’s melodies and layers them with his own supply of tantalizing drum sections, which serve as the perfect underbelly for Wynter Gordon’s nostalgic vocals. Then the drop hits; that’s where everything takes a turn. Aylen swaps out the housey drop of the original, and busts out an armada of dubbed out, trap filled womps that steadily vibrate your grateful eardrums.
Aylen continues his unstoppable spree of addicting remixes, while further proving himself as an artist to keep your eyes, and ears on: “I will I will, I will be with you, I will follow you, anywhere.”
