We first learned of Common Creation earlier this year. The Auburn, Alabama-based electro-soul producer has really captured the sound that makes luminaries in the field so great: fuzzy bass, vintage horns, and choice samples that top off the heaviest tunes with a little bit of light. The latest 'creation' is “Spirit Flow,” dynamically bombastic tune that comes in chill and then explodes into a cacophonous climax. This is the right song to set your weekend off on the good foot.
