One day before the live hip-hop/EDM hybrid duo Break Science breaks out Seven Bridges on Pretty Lights Music, we're giving fans a glimpse of the album's trappiest offering. "Trapeze" proves Borahm Lee and Adam Deitch can trap with the best of them. It comes as no surprise, considering the pair's considerable hip-hop credentials and stunning ability to conquer any genre they face.
Seven Bridges itself continues the PLM free album model while also demonstrating a wide assortment of styles and sounds. Chill broken beats found a place right alongside straight ahead bangers and even modern-day ballads with sultry vocal support on a couple from Sonya Kitchell, and a set of rappers' delights with CX. Clearly, the band's M.O. is to build its empire on the backs of solid studio work in tandem with its already impressive regimen of live dates. HIp-hop is secure in the hands of these two in this tumultuous, brave new industry.
Check out this HUGE contest for a chance to win the album on CD/vinyl, autographed drum sticks, and a PAIR of tickets to any Break Science non-festival gig coming up.
*Contest goes live at 3pm EST 9/30
