We've got that "new new" from Steven Primo and it's as hot as you'd expect. The glitch-hop producer based in the southeast brings it hard as ArkiteQt, but his real power is in creating sonically diverse soundscapes. There's no doubt he's trying to push the envelope of contemporary glitch-hop; not overloading his fans with bass blasts, but really trying to introduce some innovation into the genre.
Cranking the tempo on this composition gives the track a really energetic, almost buoyant feeling. Unseasonably warm temps have "Summer Got Me Feeling Right" as prescient as it could ever be. Tight drum programming that includes some really natural sound fills tip Primo's hand as an audio engineer. He knows exactly how to paint the audio canvas with the right colors. And speaking of colors, don't forget to check out the album artwork, which is just as busy, frenetic, and packs a punch! This one is absolutely FREE, and you can grab some other gems at www.arkiteqtmusic.com.
