Of the Trees is Portland, Maine's Tyler Coombs. This 22-year-old has begun to make an impact on the music scene, especially out on the east coast. His bass music swirled with hip-hop beats makes for a good live club setting, as well as it does for some background music while you video game nerds get live. Whether you're a hip-hop enthusiast or someone who just wants to dance, Tyler Coombs is for you. This dude has even shared the stage with artists like Kill the Noise, Paper Diamond, RJD2, and Minnesota.
His remix of the track "Human Being," by legends Zion I demonstrates his range. This laid-back Cadillac riding jam makes you feel for a moment like you’re cruising down the beach out in California. Of the Trees simply is doing it like Biggie and “going, going, back, back, to Cali, Cali” while simultaneously reminding you he is from the east coast and blending in his synthetic styled sounds. Now sit back, bounce, and rock to his music.
Coombs hasn’t released any upcoming gigs as of yet. He just finished up back-to-back shows in Austin and Dallas, Texas. With Of the Trees beginning to pick up steam keep an eye out for him to be heading your way. This guy is still young and fresh on the scene, there is no reason to expect him not to continue making a name for himself in the electronic music culture.
