The uncontested master of mash-ups is BACK, baby. Having burst onto the scene a few years back with his Big Boi vs Black Keys tribute tape, The Brothers of Chico Dusty, Wick-it The Instigator is returning to his roots after climbing up the ranks of production powerhouses in the worlds of dubstep, trap, and moombahton. This 10-minute Beatles vs Beastie Boys mix isn't just cool because we know and love and grew up on "Root Down," "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band," and "I Am the Walrus," it's cool because of the reverence Andrew Owsley holds for these legendary acts. That comes through in the mix. This is absolutely a tribute, an homage and an ode to the artists who defined our childhood and allowed us to develop such kickass taste in music. Here's to you, Wick-it, for keeping these songs in our hearts.
