Following the success of consecutive V Elements events the past two Aprils, the organizers of the yoga, music, and culture festival announced earlier this month they will be holding another incarnation on September 27th at Broadway Pier in San Diego, CA.
Today, the lineup for the one-day extravangza featuring transformational speakers, workshops, and top-notch yogis from around the world matched with the best in indie, world, jam, acoustic, and electronic music has been revealed. Joining instrumental art rock act El Ten Eleven at the top of the bill is Brendan Angelides, better known as Eskmo. The multi-genre electronic act runs the gamut from ambient textures to wildly imaginative glitch, having released tracks with indie darlings Ninja Tune, Warp, and Planet Mu.
Pat Mahoney, formerly of LCD Soundsystem will be holding down the dance music side of things, along with Dantiez Saunderson, son of Detroit techno legend Kevin Saunderson, who mixes elements of hip-hop and contemporary trends with the deep Chicago and Detroit roots within which he was raised.
Many more artists, covering a wide range of sounds and styles will merge seamlessly with the music driven yoga sets and clinics from some of the top practitioners from around the world. Yoga all day, music all night. You can't beat that.
