Twin Shape collects rising psydub acts on his Reclamation comp

The unyielding pool of talent Mindspring Music has tapped into is revealing the psydub, psybass, and chillout stars of tomorrow. The latest compilation from the label, Reclamation, which comes out September 16, was lovingly assembled by Twin Shape, and collects some old favorites and brand new faces from the deep underground sect of an already underground sound.
We get a couple of contributions from UNTZ fave Spiral Minded, including a 432 Hz intro that leads us down the dark and windy path into the collection. There's also a tune from Martins Garden and compilation curator Twin Shape, but we're most impressed by the intensity of Taotempo's "Harmonic Liberations" and Icaro's "Pinch Point," the latter which slips into a midtempo groove reminiscent of classic Kalya Scintilla.
Front to back, the entire comp, which focuses more on psydub than the "deep chill" of the previous Mindspring collection, gives fans long, journey tunes which slurp and squelch into some very interesting territory. Grab this one at the end of the week.
