Few artists have blown up faster than Filibusta in our corner of the world (and we take full responsibility for it...just playin', Troy). The funk is strong with this guy, and his live band takes it to whole new levels.

6. Marvel Years

Cory Wythe has been killing it since Day 1, and while he's showing up on bills across the country either behind the decks or shredding with a buddy, the funk is his main objective.

5. Mr. Bill

Sure, Bill Day is definitely a glitch-hop guru, but the man understands the funk deep in his Aussie bones. Our selection is equal parts future and funk. Boy do we love his music.
