The Untz Challenge IX: Turn Your Dreams into a Reality
TheUntz.com is sending two electronic acts to perform at seven major U.S. music festivals this summer
Each year fans flock to TheUntz.com to make their pics for The Untz Challenge. After nearly 4000 votes were cast for our 50 finalists, a popular vote winner was finally selected last week.
Michigan's Psyntimental ended up pulling out a victory in a very tight race. Nick Krauskoff and Trent Nedbal have been hustling their way through the underground bass scene, and were able to eke out a win against some tough competition.
The Staff Pick also happens to come from the Mitten. Nick Rowland is on the other side of the state from Detroit in Grand Rapids, and has been a fixture of the scene as a part of the Samsara Collective. Super Future has shared the stage with a number of high-profile acts coming through GR, but not he gets to break out of the Michigan bubble and tour the country playing seven music festivals this summer.
Both acts are performing at Summer Camp, The Untz Festival, SONIC BLOOM, Electric Forest, Camp Bisco, 515 Alive, and Imagine Festival. Seven states over five months including both their home states of Michigan, not bad for a summer tour schedule.
Once again we thank all the fans who participated in the voting, the artists who submitted tracks, and the festivals who came together to give all these artists a chance to change their careers.
