Fueled by the undeniable resurgence in popularity of house and techno, The Do LaB is returning to its roots in more ways than one for the inaugural Woogie Weekend, hitting Oak Canyon Ranch in Silverado, CA from July 17-19.
The legendary promotion group returns to the OC and site of its longstanding Lightning in a Bottle festival's 2010-2012 location mere weeks after selling out the latest incarnation of LiB at the end of May. This will be a much more intimate gathering, with a capacity around 5000 and a focus on the deep house and tech house that has become a mainstay on the Woogie stage at LiB's past.
Anchoring the lineup are Gigamesh, Moon Boots, Autograf, Francesca Lombardo, Jonas Rathsman, RUFUS DU SOL, and J. Phlip. Additionally, Lee Burridge will be curating Sunday with his All Day I Dream vision. Over the weekend, more than 30 acts will perform on the intimate gathering's 2 stages. Expect yoga, vendors, and workshops, as well. Think of it as a mini-Lightning in a Bottle, and a return to the rootsy vibe of year's past, before the whopping success of LiB's sellout event.
The Do LaB has long been the forerunners of west coast festival scene, and a worldwide beacon for how festivals should be thrown. Expect incredible art installations, jaw-dropping production, and the cleanest sonic delivery from Meyer Sound and Funktion-One systems.
