SugarBeats are setting a great example for upcoming musicians. This young duo has created a Kickstarter project to raise money to help pay for the upcoming album. All pledge money goes to the musicians they are using to record horns, guitar, violin, and vocals plus mastering expenses and artwork. They incorporate future funk, jazz, glitch hop, and heavy bass.
With just a little more two days left on their 60 day campaign, SugarBeats have reached just over $3,000 of their $5,000 goal. Now they have linked with The Untz to get the word out. This will be their first full length album entitled Fly High.
If they reach $10,000 they will be able to film a music video, go on tour with live vocalists and instrumentalists and possibly start the next album.
SugarBeats started 3 years ago, and have progressed with the times and the production quality. Their Groove City EP became a turning point from making simple beats to a more future sound. Fly High will feature 10 full length songs with musicians who have up to 35 years experience.
Help these hustling musicians out! Depending on how much you donate, you get rewarded with signed music, merchandise, even live music sessions for big spenders! This will be the first of many talented musicians who will get to progress in their career with crowdfunded campaigns.
