The DMV has been a hotspot for bass for a long time, so it's no surprise a new crew is gaining steam in the east coast scene. Ebisu Sound is signing acts, promoting shows, taking over festival slots, and just generally making a ruckus. In fact, an Ebisu member has made his way onto The Untz Festival—Shane Mitchell a.k.a. be.IN, who we've featured on our feeds before.
The latest Ebisu collab track comes from west coast duo Smoakland, Anthony Battaglia and Harrison Hays, and slowform, Colorado's Kaitie Echele, a product of ill.Gates' Producer Dojo system. “Here We Go Again” is a fun and frenetic experimental bass track with a ton of energy and plenty of low end. We've seen Smoakland pop up on a number of labels, recently, and there's no doubt you're going to be seeing slowform's name appear in your feeds regularly, as well. Ebisu timed their release properly, and shows they also have their fingers on the pulse of the scene from coast to coast.
