Sleeveless Records is back at it again with a massive compilation of bass badassery. Sleeveless Warriors: West Coast Bass Volume 2 is stacked with sixteen songs from our favorites and also some slappers from new up-and-comers.
Label chief Geoff Reich a.k.a. Stylust Beats, Trevor Kelly, Chase Manhattan, Shlump (who happens to be playing The Untz Festival pre-party in Oakland as part of Wormhole Wednesday tonight), BOATS, Kowta, and many more have contributed to this jam-packed compilation. Reich has hand selected each of these tracks and once again brought us a diverse and hugely successful album.
“Tubby,” by Chase Manhatten, has deep 808’s and major synths that slide us up and down the genre scales. This track is an absolute banger - the bigger the speakers the better – when played loud the listener will get a whole new aspect and depth of this track. P.S. happy birthday, Chase.
Another favorite on this new compilation is “2 OG’s” by Pigeon Hole. The track has a strong build and when it finally drops it hits a multitude of frequencies and slaps. This is a cataclysmic trap song that offers a lot of high-hats and techy bubble drops.
This compilation offers every listener a little taste of their favorite sounds. This new release provides over an hour of unique bass music that is all encompassing of the west coast bass movement. BIG UPS to everyone who contributed to this enormous release!
